WHEN MUSCLE SHAKING IS A GOOD SIGN There’s an article, “Why Muscles Shake During a Tough Workout” on the MyFitnessPal.com blog that might have some runners interested in the explanation. Author Christina Goyanes turned to expert Trevor Rappa for an answer. Mostly he and the article are reassuring; we can continue and actually feel proud of doing the hard work that will result in strengthened muscles. A caution involves recognizing situations that might be dangerous. Advice includes remembering to breathe during exercise, replenishing glycogen stores immediately afterward, and resting for recovery later.
